The linear robots were installed in Robenso’s lab and several tests are being carried out to meet their limits and fine-tune them so that their performance is improved.
These robots successfully manage to sort PET bottles at a very promising rate.
More tests will be performed soon on more classes (e.g. aluminum, HDPE, tetrapak and more) with different and more sophisticated grippers.
Afterwards, the robots will be installed in the container box where tests will be run on a larger scale.
